Welcome to our individual Bed & Breakfast, a place where tradition and modernity blend in a cozy atmosphere.

Our breakfast room, with its solid wooden tables, invites you to linger. Here, your host - after decades of experience in top-class gastronomy - will spoil you with an individual breakfast, which he personally prepares and serves for you. Enjoy exquisite coffee specialties from Seeberger.

The lovingly renovated reception area warmly welcomes you. Relax in our rustic cellar bar in the evening and let the day end comfortably.

Imagine: Under your feet are 350-year-old wooden floors that have been hidden for centuries. In our front rooms, we have brought these magnificent floors back to life and offer you a unique insight into the past.

Throughout the house you will encounter colorful pictures by the artist Tanja Herbster, which give it a special touch.

Our Bed & Breakfast is located in the middle of the Hochschwarzwald Nature Park and is the ideal starting point for your activities. Explore the nature, visit Switzerland or France, experience the Europa-Park, discover Freiburg or the Markgräflerland with its fantastic wines - the possibilities are endless!

You will also get your money's worth in culinary terms. In addition to our rich breakfast, you will find numerous restaurants in the area. And if you prefer to swing the grill tongs yourself, our barbecue area is at your disposal.

For your convenience, parking is available directly at the house and a bicycle cellar is available. In the warm months, our terrace invites you to relax and enjoy.

The history of the Klostermühle

The present Klostermühle, built at the end of the 15th century, originally served as a storehouse for the first grain mill in the Münstertal, which belonged to the St. Trudpert monastery. In the middle of the 17th century, the then abbot had the building extended by two storeys in order to use it as a guest house and private residence. Thus, the foundation stone for today's use as accommodation was already laid at this time.
