About Us

Since 1 April 2023, my dream has come true and my Klostermühle has opened. In many years of working in the top hotel in the neighbourhood, I have turned my name Müller into a brand. I have already welcomed many wonderful guests to the Klostermühle.

The blend of old and modern is simply wonderful and has worked very well so far. This includes the unique breakfast room with its wooden tables.

The reception area has been completely renovated and furnished with a unique little reception desk and mini lounge.

Throughout the hotel, 350-year-old wooden floors slumber beneath the carpeted floors, and these have already been brought back to light in three comfort rooms with a direct view of the monastery.

Right next to the entrance is my small cellar bar, which invites you to linger in the summer heat with natural air conditioning.

The whole house has been embellished with paintings by the artist Tanja Herbster.

My personalised breakfast, served and prepared by me, is another highlight, along with Seeberger coffee from the modern coffee machine. What a pick-me-up.

With its direct bus connection, which you can use free of charge with the Konus guest card, the Klostermühle is the perfect starting point for all kinds of activities. There are plenty of car and bicycle parking spaces. Hikes in all directions are of course almost a must here. The Hochschwarzwald Nature Park is right on our doorstep.

The Markgräflerland region with its unique wine-growing culture stretches out at the foot of the Münster Valley. This is the ideal starting point for exploring the border triangle.

A large number of good restaurants in the Münstertal also ensure that you won't be in need of a bed and breakfast hotel. And if there is no room available in one of the top hotels, the Klostermühle is ready to step in.
